Vivarium Thermostat
You can use one thermostat for multiple of the same rack system up to the wattage capacity of the thermostat but not for 2 different rack systems unless the thermostat has 2 or more probes like the vivarium ve 300 x2.
Vivarium thermostat. It is an upgrade of the previous version from vivarium electronics and is made to be a tabletop device so you can place it at the top of your pet s enclosure and not worry about dealing with mounting it on stands. This thermostat is the result of three years of research development and testing here at reptile basics. You will see a silver ring at the bottom with 2 lugs sticking out.
Digital thermostat ve 100 vivarium electronics the standard display shows current set point value current time of day and the current probe temperature reading. The b2 is a pulse proportional thermostat that pulses the power supplied to the heat source for an accurate change in temperature inside the vivarium. Night drop capability requires nd module remembers settings during power failure.
Vivarium thermostat fuse holder with metal lugs highlighted look inside the fuse holder cylinder on the thermostat. These lugs are what provide the attachment for the fuse assembly. Convenient wall mounting tabs.
10 probe cord user replaceable. The b2 is a pulse proportional thermostat that pulses the power supplied to the heat source for an accurate change in temperature inside the vivarium. 400 watt capacity with user replaceable fuse.
A pulse thermostat is not suitable for light emitting heat sources as the power delivery to the heat sources would cause the bulb to flash. With a single 600w output it can control all types of reptile heating equipment including heat mats reptile radiators and heat cables although a dimming thermostat is recommended for spot lamps turning them on and off accordingly with the data collected by the remote sensor placed in your vivarium or terrarium which monitors the temperature. The b2 thermostat allows precise control of any non light emitting heat source up to 600w by using advanced microprocessor technology.
This proportional thermostat is a table top model designed to sit nicely on top of your racks or cages no more trying to figure out how to mount your thermostat so you can see it or dealing with stands. Plug in and switch on the thermostat and allow a couple of hours for the temperature to stabilise. 3 button keyboard makes it ultra easy to navigate through the menu and the large back lit display makes programming easy and intuitive.
