The inhabitants of each paludarium will vary based on the habitat that is being created. You can keep fish terrestrial animals and plants in your paludarium. A balanced paludarium environment.

Keep in mind that some of these critters will eat the others so do your research before putting them together in the tank. Common paludarium animals include mudskippers killifish guppies poison dart frogs tree frogs toads newts salamanders and small turtles. You ll most likely want to include a mix of aquatic animals and terrestrial animals in your tank.

You can even include crabs such as fiddler crabs or springtails. You might even find some brackish species work too depending on the overall setup. You can use crabs turtles like yellow bellied sliders water dragons skink lizards mudskippers frogs and more.

I am one of those weird people that actually enjoys researching things so i ve been looking into this for about 5 months now besides it gives me time to squirrel away money so my wife doesn t know how much i spend on things. Obviously a paludarium has water as a significant feature whilst a vivarium does not. They need everything to be working in a proper manner be it the humidity the lighting the temperature or the filtration.
