Because fiddler crabs are omnivores they will also eat green vegetation. Lots of rocks for them to hide in. Usually foods aimed at scavengers that sink will be the best bet for fiddler crabs.
You could also feed frozen foods like plankton and shrimp. Give each additional crab 3 5 gallons. A paludarium is an aquarium that has one half designated to dry land which slopes gradually into a water filled area and resembles a shoreline in appearance.
Lush cushions of java moss keep moisture levels high and form an attractive and easy to climb cover for piles of bogwood. Salinity needs to be somewhere between 1 001 and 1 008. Interestingly enough these crabs have gills and primitive lungs to support their lifestyle.
The species thrives best in water that is slightly brackish and in an aquarium with an internal filter. The best setup for their needs is a paludarium tank. If they are too cramped the water conditions will get worse and it may cause disease.
